Role Description

The Sales obligataire role at Octo Finances is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Paris. The Sales professional will develop and maintain relationships with institutional and corporate clients, promote fixed‑income products (including public and private bonds and convertible bonds), and identify new business opportunities in the credit markets. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing client portfolios, preparing and presenting market analyses, coordinating with trading, research, and corporate finance teams, and ensuring timely execution of client orders. The role also involves monitoring market developments, contributing to product development, and maintaining accurate reporting and documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fixed‑income products, including public and private bonds and convertible bonds, as well as credit market dynamics.
• Experience in institutional sales, client relationship management, and business development within financial markets.
• Ability to interpret market data and research, prepare clear presentations, and communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to bond markets and financial intermediation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an asset.
• Fluency in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced trading floor environment.
• Prior experience in a brokerage, investment bank, or asset management firm focusing on fixed‑income products is highly desirable.
