About the Role

This role is responsible for developing a personal Book of Business within the branch’s geographical scope by implementing the company’s commercial strategy and promoting its full range of products and solutions. The objective is to accelerate sustainable growth while ensuring strong P&L contribution through effective margin management. The position requires excellent communication skills and solid operational experience in Freight Forwarding within a fast‑paced, dynamic Field Sales environment. Role based in Paris, France.

How You Will Contribute

  • Drive new business development and expand existing customer accounts within the French road freight market (FTL/LTL).
  • Identify target customers, manage the full sales cycle (prospecting → closing), and build long‑term partnerships.
  • Develop tailored transport solutions aligned with customer needs, market trends, and company capabilities.
  • Achieve revenue and margin targets while maintaining a strong, healthy sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure service excellence and competitiveness.
  • Conduct frequent customer visits and maintain accurate CRM tracking to support sustainable growth.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and pricing trends to support strategic decision‑making.

What You Will Bring

  • Freight Management experience (3+ years) and strong understanding of road freight (FTL/LTL).
  • Sales experience (4+ years) with a proven hunter mindset and ability to win new business.
  • Prospecting skills including cold calling, structured targeting, and lead generation.
  • Strong communication (fluently in French & English) and ability to adapt messaging to diverse stakeholders.
  • Negotiation capabilities to secure competitive agreements while protecting margins.
  • Pipeline discipline with consistent CRM usage and follow‑through.
  • Results‑driven mindset with ownership of KPIs and performance under pressure.
