The Sales Manager is responsible for driving performance, development, and results of the sales team in France . This includes coaching and supporting individual team members in achieving their targets and contributing to overall country performance. The role also oversees sales‑related processes within France, ensuring alignment with sales objectives. The Sales Manager works closely with regional cross‑functional teams to support commercial efficiency and effective execution of the sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver France’s sales revenue, profit targets, and strategic product objectives as defined in the annual budget, and track progress against these targets.
- Lead, coordinate, and coach the French sales team to ensure strong performance and clear alignment with sales objectives.
- Support the professional development of team members and ensure achievement of individual and team objectives as defined in annual goal‑setting and personal development plans.
- Ensure the team applies a consultative selling approach and the pathology engagement strategy, and build and maintain relationships with key customers, providing support where needed.
- Ensure collaboration and alignment between Sales, Marketing, and other relevant functions.
- Monitor market trends and translate relevant insights into plans for the French market, while overseeing timely and accurate reporting from the sales team, including plans, forecasts, actions, and results.
Qualifications
- Higher education degree; Business Administration preferred.
- Proven commercial, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading and developing sales teams.
- Experience in the medical device and/or diagnostics industry.
- Strong consultative selling skills.
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Professional command of English; French fluency is assumed.
