Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Hunter in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, you will identify and win new business opportunities across key industries, aligning technical solutions with clients’ needs. Your primary responsibilities include:
- New Business Development: Generate, create, manage, and develop new business opportunities within the assigned region. Participate in international trade fairs several times a year.
- Technical and Commercial Solutions: Provide technical and commercial support to potential clients, tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs with the help of in‑house application specialists.
- Frequent Travel: Travel regularly (≈3 days per week) within the region; overnight stays may be 2–3 nights per month on average. Occasionally travel to the Belgium headquarters may be required.
- Opportunity Management: Actively track and manage opportunities through Salesforce, maintaining regular follow‑ups with prospects and clients at purchase, process engineering, and plant management levels.
- Quotation Management: Collaborate with the Internal Sales team to prepare and present offers, handling incoming requests promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Reside in the Lyon area or be willing to relocate.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, especially in new client acquisition.
- Strong technical aptitude to understand and communicate complex solutions effectively; experience in biogas, chemicals, water treatment, soil remediation or environmental technologies is a major asset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, with a true hunter mentality.
- Willingness to travel frequently and flexible for overnight stays.
- Fluency in French and English; additional languages are a plus.

Team and Reporting Structure
As Sales Manager – Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes – France, you will join a team of 58 internal and external sales colleagues across Europe and report directly to the Regional Business Director France.
