Job Purpose
In this newly created position, you will manage an EMEA Overlay Sales team representing ADP’s Lyric HCM solution . This solution is launching in the market and is poised to be a disruptive force built in the public cloud, leveraging low‑code technology. As Sales Manager you will articulate the value of the ADP technology platform, solution differentiators, and the potential business impact to the large addressable market. You will oversee your team to ensure they work closely with both the sales and service organizations to find the best prospects that fit specific requirements and then execute a sales process to close new deals. The role offers a world‑class induction programme, a leadership team with best‑in‑breed expertise, and over 75 years of heritage and capability. You will collaborate and orchestrate a leading team of expertise and resources to identify and address client needs in an evolving landscape of people management.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management, performance, and development of the EMEA Lyric HCM pursuit team in line with the agreed sales strategy and overall business plan.
- Development and maintenance of a comprehensive plan for team sales activity including pipeline and productivity, and management of both quota and non‑commercial objectives for all individuals/teams.
- Liaise closely with the DVP of Sales, Sales Managers, ASMs, and colleagues within the EMEA Business to pursue a consistent approach to sales/product/commercial strategy.
- Provide feedback to ADP’s Lyric HCM product team with competitive intelligence, client/prospect/sales input, etc.
- Ensure correct monthly reporting following the designated format established by the Divisional Vice President of Sales, and establish accurate forecasting for the current month, quarter, and rest of the year.
- Direct the sales team regarding training, compensation, motivation, development, and resourcing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of sales management, ideally within the HCM space.
- Substantial experience leading a remote team of sales high‑performers focused on winning HCM projects across EMEA.
- A proven formula for consistent revenue generation, pipeline and deal management such as Challenger Sales or MEDDPICC.
- Experience working across EMEA with the ability to coordinate internal support and resources to deliver across the region.
- Ability to delegate and coordinate workloads to achieve overall objectives within specified time and budget.
- Based in either the UK, France, or the Netherlands with the right to work in‑country.
- Outstanding sales and leadership skills, broad management knowledge, and the ability to manage, communicate, create, and provide leadership without line authority. Proven proficiency in both oral and written communication is essential.
