Position
French‑speaking Technical Sales Engineer – responsible for driving business growth across the French market.
Responsibilities
- Implement sales strategies that support revenue growth and profitability objectives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the French market.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions.
- Collaborate with the Sales Application team to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
- Coordinate, support, and motivate external sales agents to achieve commercial targets.
- Monitor sales agent performance through KPIs and provide guidance where needed.
- Organize regular meetings with agents to review results, discuss opportunities, and align sales activities.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with customers.
- Represent Munters at customer meetings, industry events, trade fairs, and networking activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
- Analyze sales performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Ideally 5–7 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development.
- Experience within industrial equipment, process industries, environmental technologies, or related sectors.
- Experience with RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) systems is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies and consultative selling techniques.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and manage complex technical sales cycles.
- Experience working with sales agents, distributors, or indirect sales channels is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales management tools.
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into commercial actions.
- Strategic, results‑driven, and capable of working independently.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Italian is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly within France.
