Sales Director - Healthcare Packaging

George Thomas is retained on a Sales Director position for a private equity backed healthcare packaging company.

Role Overview

The role will lead the company’s commercial performance and revenue growth across domestic and international markets, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, operational discipline, and commercial excellence.

As a member of the Executive Committee, the role will play a key part in shaping and delivering the company’s growth strategy across the sales organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy in line with the company’s growth ambitions.
• Lead, inspire, and develop the sales team to deliver strong performance.
• Expand market share and identify new strategic business opportunities.
• Manage complex negotiations and long sales cycles for high-value projects.
• Monitor commercial KPIs, including revenue, margins, pipeline, and conversion rates.
• Build and maintain strong customer partnerships to drive retention and loyalty.
• Collaborate closely with technical, innovation, and production teams to ensure market alignment.
• Support the company’s positioning through communication, promotional, and trade activities.
• Strengthen CRM, reporting, and sales follow-up processes.
