Responsibilities

  • Position Thales as a global leader in the UTM / UAS integration domain.
  • Contribute to formalizing a clear vision and strategy for each market.
  • Ensure and promote the attractiveness and competitiveness of Thales UTM products.
  • Shape the domain through thought leadership and active participation in key industry events.
  • Secure the largest market share in the sector.
  • Build a long‑term pipeline and generate growth above market expectations.
  • Develop business and account plans to align strategy with customers and internal stakeholders, including:
    • Understanding customer stakes, expectations and vision, and how Thales offers can support their business.
    • Monitoring competitor performance with the customer.
    • Identifying and defining strategic initiatives in collaboration with the customer to generate growth beyond the status quo and strengthen partnership.
  • Work closely with the UTM team to support action plans covering growth opportunities, engagement plans, must‑wins, and market‑segment content.
  • Orchestrate and network with all internal and external stakeholders:
    • Share customer‑centric information and represent the customer internally.
    • Oversee the account team on tendering, project execution, technology portfolio, and customer satisfaction, and support sales teams to close orders.
    • Direct, coordinate and monitor all ongoing bids, projects and programs related to the portfolio accounts to deliver strategic objectives and business results while maintaining high customer satisfaction and governance compliance.
  • Share the account plan and facilitate the execution of the related action plan with all relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Inform the account team and steering committee of customer‑satisfaction issues and support the development of customer‑satisfaction measurement.
  • Act as the single “face to the customer” on behalf of Thales by:
    • Orchestrating account‑team actions aimed at maximizing customer satisfaction.
    • Setting joint actions with the customer to build trust and loyalty between both organizations.
    • Developing group order intake in the short and medium term through deep customer intimacy.
    • Driving and securing strategic initiatives defined in the account plan.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of professional experience in aviation and/or UAS industry.
  • Ten or more years of experience working with or in state and local government.
  • Five or more years of project or team leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to motivate teams and deliver results.
  • Capability to drive results across virtual teams and to represent Thales Group as a whole.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative, curiosity and autonomy.
  • Self‑propelled team building and strong communication skills.
  • Strong ability to convince, persuade and negotiate both internally and externally.
  • Proficient stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Strong accountability, customer‑intimacy, and trust‑building capabilities.
  • Critical thinking and analytical capacity to evaluate complex situations.
  • Positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.

Travel

Up to 30 percent of the time may require travel to customer sites, Thales sites (including international locations), and industry events.

Language

Fluent English required.
