Programmer

Overview

The OPC Training Institute is accepting resumes for a full-time "Programmer I" position. Successful applicants will have strong skills in C, C++, C#, communication, and organization. In this position, you will work with our programming team to develop applications that diagnose and rectify networking and communication problems, helping people with little networking experience establish a solid communication backbone for their industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Create networked applications to diagnose and repair communication problems
• Follow standard software development practices and use standard development tools
• Maintain corporate network
• Collaborate with OPCTI personnel to ensure highest level of customer experience
• Keep current on relevant industry and technology trends

Qualifications

• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• B. Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, or equivalent
• Strong technical problem solving skills
• Sound understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming
• Corporate networking and setup experience
• Computer and network hardware troubleshooting experienceAbility to work in a fast paced environment
• Fluent English oral and written skills

Sales and Marketing Assistant

Overview

The OPC Training Institute is accepting resumes for a full-time Sales and Marketing Assistant position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Marketing Manager with:
  • Development and implementation of company marketing initiatives
  • Maintenance of corporate website and online presence
  • Distribution of global campaigns, press releases and webinars
  • Integration of marketing plans with sales team
• Assist the Sales Team with:
  • Lead generation
  • Opportunity development
  • Opportunity management and pipeline utilization
  • Management of incoming customer inquiries
  • Coordination of training logistics

Workshop Instructor

Overview

The OPC Training Institute is searching for qualified trainers. This is a key role for the company as it is the publicly visible part of the company and you will become our corporate "face". OPCTI offers hands‑on training workshops in‑person and online, vendor‑neutral, teaching how to establish and implement a robust and secure communication infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Fly to the training location, conduct the setup, and deliver the training class. OPCTI will provide curriculum and training material. Each training session lasts 4 days, and you will generally be on location for at least 5 days.
• Travel to the latest training locations, typically major metropolitan centers, assigned to a specific region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent

• Valid passport with the ability to travel to required locations
