The person responsible for Executive Education business development supports prospects as they consider their learning and development plans and select the programme best suited to their professional objectives. They actively contribute to the growth of our Executive Education certificate and degree programmes by identifying, advising and recruiting the most relevant profiles for our programmes.
This person is also responsible for developing their prospect portfolio and achieving their sales targets.
In the highly competitive Executive Education market, the role therefore combines a strong consultative approach, a proactive prospecting mindset, a high level of commercial responsiveness and a clear results-driven focus.
Main responsibilities:
1 – Advise and convert
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and ensure responsive, personalised follow-up.
- Understand prospects’ backgrounds, professional objectives and decision-making criteria.
- Assess the fit between their profile and the programmes offered, and guide them towards the most relevant option.
- Present the value of the programmes in a compelling way and support prospects through to enrolment.
2 – Develop new opportunities
- Proactively develop the pipeline beyond leads generated through Marketing activities.
- Identify and prospect new profiles through LinkedIn, outbound calls, targeted email campaigns, networking, referrals and other relevant channels.
- Develop prospecting and follow-up initiatives tailored to different target audiences.
- Identify new pools of potential prospects and contribute to expanding the network of prospects and referral sources.
3 – Implement sales initiatives
- Design and organise initiatives aimed at generating or converting prospects, including webinars, information sessions, masterclasses, after-work events, alumni events, partnerships and targeted campaigns.
- Engage Programme, Marketing and Faculty teams, as well as alumni, whenever relevant.
- Ensure effective sales follow-up with prospects in order to convert interest into qualified opportunities.
4 – Manage activity and performance
- Rigorously manage the prospect portfolio and maintain a reliable, up-to-date pipeline in the CRM.
- Monitor key performance indicators and conversion rates at each stage of the funnel.
- Maintain a realistic view of expected enrolments and contribute to forecasting.
- Proactively recommend actions to support the achievement of agreed targets, based on regular analysis of results.
- Provide regular, structured reporting to management.
5 – Collaboration and market knowledge
- Work closely with Programme, Marketing and Admissions teams, as well as with the European campuses.
- Share insights on prospect expectations, emerging needs, objections, and relevant market and competitive intelligence.
- Proactively recommend target audiences, sales messaging and recruitment initiatives.
- Contribute to sharing best practices and continuously improving sales methods.
