SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER – AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRONICS

FORVIA HELLA is seeking its next Sales Account Manager to join our team. The primary function of this role is to take ownership of global sales for our OEM partners for our Electronics Division. This individual will be joining a newly established and growing team that is helping to move the electric vehicle market forward.
YOUR TASKS
- Manage and develop relationships with our local OEMs for all electronics product sales; you are the central contact person for the customer to achieve best possible customer care and satisfaction.
- From the sales side, you will oversee selected technical projects/products from acquisition, change management during the development phase as well as ongoing series supply up until the end of series production.
- You work out the price framework for quotations in consultation with the acquisition core‑team and conduct the commercial and technical negotiations with the customer during the RFQ phase.
- Prospect for new business opportunities by building relationships within our OEM partner.
- You analyze the customer requirements and strategies, continuously inform the essential departments internally, and control the decision‑making processes in a target‑oriented manner.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve collaborative sales results.
- Manage customer requirements, pricing, and quotations.
Your Qualifications
- Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering) or equivalent degree in Business.
- 8+ years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in the automotive industry.
- Professional proficiency in both French and English is required.
- Automotive Electronics experience is required.
- Willingness to travel (mostly European).
- You are outgoing and communicative as well as assertive and build up strong & trustful networks and relationships.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to accomplish assigned tasks within established and changing deadlines.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office especially in Excel and PowerPoint. Salesforce experience preferred.
