BUSINESS SEGMENT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

Equities & FICC: We make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.

The Frabelux Interest Rate Sales desk covers institutional clients (asset managers, insurance companies, banks, hedge funds) on their investments & hedging strategies, covering a wide range of products across cash bonds, derivatives, options and bespoke solutions. Salespeople on the desk work closely with traders, structuring, legal and compliance. Salespeople have a broad macroeconomic understanding of the trading environment, the intricacies of global markets and a developed knowledge of our clients’ capabilities and constraints.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and build strong relationship with clients, traders and strategists
• Filter the wealth of information available in order to provide our clients with a service that is relevant to their business
• Develop trade ideas with the support of trading and research
• Product enhancement: direct input into enhancing GS offering, market intel collecting, idea generation, project prioritisation
• Data consolidation: collecting / analysing / distributing to clients / internal analysis
• Ensure the operational stability of the business and work effectively with the various business control units in the bank, operations, risk, compliance, etc.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Financial services or investment banking industry experiencepreferred
• This role requires a highly motivated candidate who displays a passion for the markets, can manage multiple tasks in an efficient and accurate manner while working in an international fast-moving environment
• Native German or French speaker with excellent English skills – written and verbal
• Prior involvement in financial risk management activitiespreferred
• Experience of generating market insights and providing market colour to colleagues and clientspreferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, quick learning ability required
• Must have ability to manage client expectations and competing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong motivation for product distribution
• High degree of intellectual curiosity
