Safety engineer oil&gas H/F

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Process Safety professional capable of operating in complex multidisciplinary engineering environments.

You demonstrate strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence engineering decisions through sound safety judgments and risk‑based approaches.

Education

• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree (BSc/MSc) in:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Process Engineering
  • Industrial Safety
  • HSE Engineering
  • Equivalent discipline

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Process Safety Engineering.
• Proven experience within:
  • Chemical plants
  • Petrochemical facilities
  • Industrial gas projects
  • Fertilizer production units
  • Energy or large industrial projects

Experience in FEED or EPC project environments is highly desirable.

Languages

• Fluent English (mandatory).
• French is considered an advantage.

Software

• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Engineering document management systems.
• 3D model review platforms.
• Experience with Fire & Gas engineering and safety tools is a plus.

Standards

Strong knowledge of:

• IEC 61511
• NFPA Standards
• API Standards
• Hazardous Area Classification standards
• Process Safety Management methodologies
• International industrial safety regulations and best practices

The salary range for this position is €55,000 to €65,000 gross per year , depending on experience, technical expertise, and qualifications.
