S&OP – Demand Management Specialist

About the Role

Arabelle Solutions is strengthening its Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) capabilities to support both its new‑build and services businesses. As a Demand Management Specialist, you will consolidate demand scenarios, improve forecast reliability, and align commercial pipelines, strategic market objectives, and operational capacity planning, including a 10‑year horizon view for long‑term industrial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand consolidation and scenario building:
  • Consolidate demand scenarios for new equipment and services, integrating inputs from Sales, Strategy, and S&OP supply teams.
  • Build and maintain demand scenarios to support load and capacity analysis.
  • Assess the solidity, consistency, and maturity of commercial opportunities by working closely with Sales teams.
  • Ensure the demand outlook reflects market dynamics, customer needs, competitive environment, and market share ambitions.
• Collaboration with Sales & Strategic Planning:
  • Interface with Sales teams to understand the pipeline, validate assumptions, and identify risks.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Planning and Product Management to align medium‑ and long‑term demand, target markets, and business ambitions.
  • Support the creation of a 10‑year demand plan, filling gaps when commercial visibility decreases through market intelligence and strategic inputs.
• S&OP Process Integration:
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with S&OP Supply teams to ensure seamless integration between demand scenarios and load/capacity calculations.
  • Participate in S&OP reviews, providing clear, data‑driven insights and recommendations.
• Tools, Processes & Continuous Improvement:
  • Develop and implement usable, flexible tools to support demand consolidation, scenario modeling, and reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of S&OP processes, methodologies, and data quality.
  • Proactively propose enhancements to forecasting practices, analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, economics, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, forecasting, business planning, or commercial analytics.
• Experience in industrial, engineering, or long‑cycle project environments (strong plus).
• Technical competencies: solid understanding of forecasting principles, demand planning processes, and scenario modeling; strong analytical and data‑management skills; proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and demand‑planning tools; experience with CRM or pipeline management systems is appreciated.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Soft skills: ability to work cross‑functionally, influence without authority in a multicultural environment; strong communication; business acumen; proactive, curious, structured thinking; team‑oriented; integrity.
