Our expertise in industrial innovation and manufacturing excellence allows us to deliver high-performance solutions that improve the efficiency, durability, and sustainability of our clients' products.**SWM is looking for a dynamic and business-driven Product Manager to join our Alternative Markets Business Segment .**As Product Manager, you’ll drive strategy, pricing, product portfolio, and promotion for our Rolling Papers — working cross-functionally with teams across Sales, R&D, Operations, and more. From concept to launch, your mission will be to align our capabilities with market needs. This role is ideal for a business-driven professional with a sharp strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for creating impact through data and customer insight.
Ideally based in France to collaborate closely with our Saint-Girons team, the position can also be located at our headquarters in Luxembourg.**Main Responsiblities**
- Maximize sales revenue, market share, and profit margins for the product line.
- Lead the multi-generation product planning and coordinate implementation of associated action plans.
- Define and deliver a clear product vision and roadmap.
- Develop pricing strategies and guidelines for both new and existing products.
- Build and manage the brand identity, reputation, and communication strategy.
- Oversee the entire product development cycle — from concept through design, engineering, manufacturability, and launch.
- Ensure product and service quality meets or exceeds customer and market expectations.
- Monitor and optimize production capacity to meet the needs of target segments and geographies.
- Report on product line performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic progress using clear dashboards.
- Identify unmet customer needs, market challenges, and key pain points.
- Analyze the competitive landscape, including pricing, features, performance, applications, and innovation, to inform strategic decisions.
- Track and interpret market trends, drivers, and regulatory changes impacting the segment.
- Maintain and grow a reliable partner and supplier network to support market delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and execute product line strategies effectively.## Profil
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; a specialization in Marketing is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Marketing, preferably within the Tobacco Industry or with a materials supplier to the Tobacco Industry
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Proficiency in French is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills; data-driven decision maker
- Strategic mindset with an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit
- Experience in managing partnerships and strategic alliances
- Self-motivated and autonomous
