Job Title

Royalties & Reporting Analyst – Music Rights – Deezer

Mission

The Royalties and Reporting team supports the recording’s reporting process. You will monitor monthly royalties, perform control checks, collaborate with partner operational teams, provide market insights, and coordinate with finance and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and compute royalties every month
• Perform and improve control checks on reporting and royalties
• Ensure a relationship with the operational teams of our partners
• Help the negotiating teams by giving insights on market shares and royalty costs
• Collaborate with the finance team regarding accruals and cash management
• Coordinate with the engineering team to improve and optimise our royalties and reporting tools

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or equivalent
• Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of Excel
• Ability to learn and understand technical tools inherent to digital services
• Self-sufficient and meticulous
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English
• An experience in the Music Industry, especially in royalties, is a plus
• Experience with data analysis is a plus (BigQuery, Looker Studio, etc.)
