Rotating Equipment Lead Engineer (M/F)

We are currently seeking a Rotating Equipment Lead Engineer reporting directly to the Engineering Division to join our Equipment Department team based in Paris La Défense, France.
Within the engineering division of Technip Energies' Paris office, you will report to the Equipment Department.
You will participate in the engineering and design of projects carried out by TEN France for the Group's various Business Lines, decarbonized solutions (Carbon capture, H2, Wind), LNG or biofuels. On these projects, most of which are export projects, you will interface with teams from other disciplines within Technip Energies (project management, procurement, construction) as well as our mainly international partners.
You will join a team of 25 people in the Rotating Equipment Department, managing all rotating equipment types such as gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, diesel generators, fire water pumps, subsea pumps, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the team of rotating equipment engineers assigned to a project (2 to 10 people based in Paris and in different Operating Centers)
- The technical responsibility of the discipline on the project with the support of an Expert
- Reporting to project management and department head
- The production of the deliverables of the discipline
- Monitoring the budget and the planning of the discipline
- The deployment of quality processes and the compliance of the discipline with the internal rules and the contract
- The realization and technical supervision of equipment requisition from the technical definition to the supplier acceptance
- Act as Project manager combining both technical responsibility and team management on the equipment perimeter
- Key contact for project management, client, technical disciplines, purchasing department for its scope
Qualifications
Master's degree in mechanical and/or thermodynamics with at least 15 years of experience in Engineering Equipment field from an Engineering Company or Equipment Supplier.
