To accelerate our direct sales across France and the EMEA region, we are looking for a Sales Manager with a “hunter” mindset, capable of navigating complex sales cycles and delivering a high impact ROI vision to C-level executives.
Your mission: hunt, close, scale.
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be the captain of our business development for high-value automation projects (€3M+).
Business Development & Hunting:
- Identify and proactively engage with new prospects (3PL, Manufacturing, Retail) across your region using a targeted account-based marketing (ABM) approach.
- Open doors at C-level and decision-maker level (operations, finance, supply chain…) in strategic companies.
- Build a qualified and sustainable pipeline that supports our ambitious growth targets.
- Leverage marketing digital outreach, cold calls, trade events, and account-based marketing to get in.
- Prioritize leads using BALYO’s scoring and budget tools to stay focused on high-value opportunities.
Strategic Sales & Project Management:
- Lead the sales process from discovery to closing, supported by our marketing and solution departments.
- Execute a clear 30‑60‑90 day strategic plan supported by market analysis, account targeting and revenue objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineering to deliver turnkey solutions.
- Bring a solution-selling approach to help clients understand the value of automation in their operations.
Strategic Account Expansion:
- Select and scale existing key accounts with multi‑site and repeat potential across the EMEA region.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers to develop long‑term partnerships.
- Work hand‑in‑hand with Marketing to promote successful use cases and open similar opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 10–15 years in technical B2B sales.
- Proven experience in logistics and automation is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in solution selling for high‑value projects (€3M+) and navigating long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
- Strong project management abilities and strict CRM discipline for forecasting and pipeline management.
- Analytical, data‑driven mindset with a high‑energy, “boots‑on‑the‑ground” attitude toward regular travels.
- Fluent in both English and French.
- Based in France (HQ in south of Paris area).
