Robotics Software Architect
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Robotics Software Architect (f/m) to join our Perception & Control Department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing automation and robotics solutions for all Airbus Commercial plants and Final Assembly Lines. As part of the Perception & Control team, you will be involved in robotic functional design and software architecture studies aimed at maturing and deploying disruptive robotic production solutions into industrial environments.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic software architectures ensuring a robust production‑ready system layout.
- Drive functional design and software coding focusing mainly on perception, vision, and motion control algorithms.
- Steer the System Engineering and MBSE approaches to properly manage systems infrastructure and interfaces.
- Define and execute the Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy and deliver comprehensive technical documentation.
- Lead technical project packages to secure milestones and reliably mature technology solutions from R&T to deployment.
- Maintain awareness of potential compliance risks and commit to act with integrity as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience in System Engineering and industrial software architecture.
- Solid background in C++ and Python software development under Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Practical application of MBSE methodologies and system integration tools within DevOps environments.
- Strong knowledge of communication middlewares (ROS, DDS, REDIS) and network protocols (TCP‑IP, UDP).
- Technical expertise in sensor integration (2D, 3D, thermal cameras) and robotic field buses.
