Join us in the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies in our global warehouse and delivery network.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team, oversee annual reporting, and mentor team members to develop technicians.
• Collaborate with safety and site leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and compliance programs, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with recruitment to fill headcount with qualified staff, supporting apprenticeship and graduate programs.
• Implement and improve standards in collaboration with the EU Engineering team, focusing on preventative maintenance to ensure safety and equipment availability.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in engineering team leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or equivalent experience.
• Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Proficient in English and local language (CEFR Level B2+).
• Experience with automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
• Project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or working towards it.
• Knowledge of all specialized engineering and facilities equipment within a Fulfillment Center.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems.
