Risk Based Inspection Engineer

Job DescriptionWe regularly recruit RBI (Risk Based Inspection) Engineers to work with a major Oil & Gas engineering group in Paris. You build facility inspection strategies from the engineering phase onwards, working closely with operations and maintenance teams.Your responsibilities\n

• Collect and consolidate project data from equipment lists, mechanical datasheets and line lists.
\n
• Identify deterioration mechanisms and define corrosion loops with the process, HSE and O&M teams.
\n
• Prepare corrosion loop reports and material selection justifications.
\n
• Perform RBI studies in the selected software (Meridium or equivalent) in line with API 580 and API 581.
\n
• Develop inspection plans and ensure the quality and traceability of deliverables.
\n
• Report progress to the project RBI Lead.
\n

Your profile\n

\n
• At least 8 years of experience in inspection, integrity or corrosion, including proven experience in RBI methodology.
\n
• Proficiency in an RBI software package, ideally Meridium.
\n
• Sound knowledge of EPC engineering documentation, material selection and applicable codes (API 571, API 580, API 581, ASME).
\n
• Rigorous writing skills and a collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams.
\n
• Professional English is essential.
\n
