Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled RF and Ground Segment Technician to join our team and play a critical role in the RF team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within an organization that values growth, teamwork, and professional development.
Who You Are
An RF technician is responsible for the maintenance of antennas, has knowledge in radio frequency, mechanics, and computer science to quickly restore services in case of failure.
What You’ll Do
- Run the day‑to‑day operations of the entire antenna network, spanning from UHF to Q-band frequencies (including L‑Band, C‑Band, Ka‑Band, DBS‑Band, V‑Band).
- Monitor and optimize station performance to meet mission requirements.
- Keep the entire L‑band signal distribution infrastructure in operation.
- Support all antenna missions such as Video Services transmission, Broadband Services, TT&C, payload supervision, and In‑Orbit Testing (IOT) of satellites, ESVA activities, etc.
- Be involved in the RF spool warehouse management, mechanical repairing activities, and electronic repair activities related to the laboratory for High‑Power Amplifiers (HPA).
- Provide 24/7 On‑Call support to deliver Level 2/3 Support for all services and infrastructure incidents.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, satellite communication industry, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in RF engineering and operations within the satellite communication industry.
- Good knowledge of measurement tools such as spectrum analyzers and monitoring tools like Dataminer.
- Proven track record in managing antenna networks and associated infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of frequency bands.
