RF/Analog Validation Engineer Avel Technologies
Overview
We are looking for an experienced RF/Analog Validation Engineer to join our team in Toulouse and contribute to advanced semiconductor solutions for the automotive market.
As part of the Lab Validation team, you will work on the validation of the latest Radar ADAS integrated circuits, developing and executing Functional Safety (FuSa) System Validation and Regression tests. The role combines RF/Radar technology, laboratory validation and test automation in an advanced automotive semiconductor environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience;
- Strong experience with Radar technology and RF/Analog validation;
- Experience with System Radar Measurement KPIs, particularly in the 70–90 GHz bandwidth;
- Hands-on experience with RF laboratory equipment;
- Experience with laboratory test automation;
- Good knowledge and practical experience with ARM MCUs;
- Experience with automation and development tools/languages such as C, Python, MATLAB, Java and Trace32;
- Good communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in an international engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Functional Safety (FuSa) System Validation tests for Radar ADAS ICs;
- Develop and execute regression test campaigns;
- Perform laboratory validation activities on RF/Analog and Radar devices;
- Perform and analyze Radar system measurements and KPIs;
- Set up and operate RF laboratory equipment for validation activities;
- Develop and maintain automated validation and test solutions;
- Perform validation and debugging activities involving ARM-based MCUs;
- Analyze test results, identify issues and support technical investigations;
- Contribute to the validation of next-generation automotive Radar semiconductor solutions.
