Retail Trainer responsible for developing skills, knowledge and performance of retail teams across the French stores network. Deliver impactful training programs that enhance customer experience, strengthen product expertise and improve sales results. Key partner for store teams, ensuring consistent implementation of brand standards and operational excellence.
Location: Paris La Défense
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions (in‑store, classroom, virtual).
- Deliver training programs covering brand culture, product knowledge, sales techniques and managerial skills to Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers.
- Coach teams in real time during store visits to reinforce training and improve behaviours on the floor.
Content Creation & Adaptation
- Identify needs and set priorities.
- Develop and update training materials: guides, workshops, e‑learning modules, videos and assessments.
- Adapt global training content to local market needs while ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure training supports commercial priorities.
Field Coaching & Performance Support
- Conduct regular store visits to assess performance and identify training needs.
- Provide personalised coaching for managers, assistant store managers and sales associates.
- Track training impacts using KPIs such as conversion rate, UPT, average basket size, mystery shopping results and customer satisfaction.
Train‑the‑Trainer Program
- Design, deliver and continuously improve Train‑the‑Trainer programs to develop internal trainers, store managers and ambassadors.
- Follow‑up on the trainers’ skills to ensure consistent delivery of brand standards, training methodologies and customer experience guidelines.
- Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluation to trainers to strengthen facilitation skills and retail leadership capabilities.
- Ensure alignment of training delivery across the network by equipping trainers with clear content, tools, best practices and performance indicators.
- Build a community of trainers, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Project & Program Management
- Support the rollout of new training program launches and training initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics for training events (scheduling, materials, communication).
- Participate in continuous improvement of the training strategy and tools.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Multiple experiences in retail training and store management.
- Strong retail culture is essential.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills (written, verbal, storytelling).
- Ability to energise and motivate people.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Adaptability, creativity and a hands‑on mindset.
- Strong ability to adapt to various situations and challenges.
- Pedagogical, pragmatic and attentive.
- Creative and proactive, with strong proposal‑driving skills.
Language Skills
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Spanish would be a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Articulate, Adobe Premiere, Synthesia and Kahoot would be an advantage.
Work Environment
- Based in La Défense.
- Frequent store visits and travel within the country.
