PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Retail Marketing & PR Apprentice, you will support both the Retail Marketing Officer and the PR Manager in the implementation and monitoring of local marketing and communication initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams, dealerships, media contacts, and external partners to support the successful deployment of marketing actions, communication materials, promotional tools, and PR activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Marketing
Dealer Marketing & POS Support
- Support the creation and coordination of POS material projects for dealerships (Open Doors events, product launches, sponsoring, etc.), including assisting in the timely production and delivery of materials.
- Support calls for tenders for POS material providers, and participate in the tender process for the POS and goodies platform dedicated to dealers.
- Contribute to the development and management of the POS and goodies platform, including product catalog management.
- Support the creation of local marketing assets, ensure they are accessible to dealers, and contribute to the drafting and distribution of dealer communication notes (quarterly or monthly newsletters).
- Support in the animation of local teams through marketing‑based challenges and incentive programs.
- Follow up on daily requests from dealers related to marketing operations.
- Support local activation initiatives with our partner Olympique, ensuring brand visibility and alignment with marketing objectives.
Reporting & Analysis
- Build and monitor reports on local marketing actions (local investments, events, and activities).
- Analyze the investment of local marketing initiatives.
Press and Public Relations
- Support the management of daily media enquiries and assist in coordinating timely responses with the PR Manager.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of press briefings, media events, and product presentations.
- Contribute to the development of press materials, including press releases, Q&A documents, and media kits, and support spokesperson preparation through drafting talking points and briefing notes.
- Support product communication activities related to new vehicle launches and brand initiatives.
- Help ensure consistency of brand messaging across media communications.
- Monitor automotive media coverage and assist in preparing regular press review reports.
- Other tasks according to your ability and the company’s needs.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Education: Bac +2 minimum, in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
