Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and technical support to clients, opinion leaders, veterinary institutions, and internal Elanco teams.
• Support sales training, marketing technical support, product launch follow‑up, and pharmacovigilance activities.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), veterinary schools, and professional bodies.
• Represent Elanco at national and international events, congresses, and meetings.
• Design, implement, and monitor product conviction studies and client‑specific services.
• Train, coach, and evaluate the sales force through technical training, on‑the‑ground coaching, seminars, and creation of training materials.
• Support marketing and cross‑functional teams by validating scientific content of promotional and training materials, ensuring scientific and regulatory vigilance, and contributing to new product launches and global projects.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian or in a technical‑dominant role within the veterinary industry or animal health sales.
• Experience in client technical support, product complaint handling, and pharmacovigilance in a veterinary setting.
• Experience in technical training, on‑the‑ground coaching of commercial teams, and scientific validation of technical or promotional support.
• Knowledge of common diseases, therapeutics, competition, and regulatory environment specific to the veterinary industry.
• Professional English and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs), veterinary schools, or professional institutions.
• Experience preparing and delivering scientific presentations at conferences or professional events.
• Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring product or conviction studies.
• Experience supporting new product launches and working with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, regulatory, and international teams.
• Experience managing budgets related to technical or partnership activities.

Additional Information

• Travel: 50% of the time.
• Location: France – national field position.
