Your mission

The Commercial Supply Chain department is at the heart of our operational activity, ensuring the smooth flow of logistics operations and the delivery of products from their origin to our clients in France and internationally, in compliance with international regulations. Key missions include:

  • Forecasting sales: locally lead the sales forecasting process to enable central planning to make accurate S&OP decisions.
  • Stock management: drive stock levels to adapt to market changes, aiming for optimal service levels versus cost/BFR.
  • Order management and customer relations: steer the order books, administer client parameters in our systems, and maintain the relationship with clients for optimal service at best cost.
  • Preparation and logistics: our expertise in physical order preparation and logistics ensures each product is carefully selected, packed and ready for shipment.
  • Transport: collaborate with reliable logistics partners to optimise routing, delivery times, and ensure products arrive in perfect condition.
  • Innovation and operational excellence: continuously strive for operational excellence and innovation to optimize processes and provide cost‑effective service across all distribution channels.

You will evolve within the Excellence Operational Commercial Supply Chain department, which also includes a transformation project hub, an ongoing improvement hub with Excellence leaders for Transport, Customer Service, 3PL, Internal Distribution and Demand & Supply, and a Data hub. You will drive the continuous improvement program to simplify, standardise, and optimise our processes, enhancing service to clients and patients, boosting productivity, and reducing costs.

Culture Lean & training

You will support the deployment of Lean culture within CSC, raising the number and competence of Yellow, Green and Black Belts in France and internationally. You will roll out the training program worldwide, promote and enhance it, and lead the international community in sharing best practices. You will also support the CSC Lean community across sites in developing technical expertise and soft skills, coaching the network when needed.

Performance management

  • Collaborate with Excellence leaders (team, sites and subsidiaries) to consolidate, prioritise and drive the continuous improvement roadmap.
  • Ensure alignment of improvement projects with CSC strategic priorities and operations.
  • Track, consolidate annual gains, and promote or showcase achieved projects internally and externally.
  • Support the rollout of BU Operations continuous improvement standards and their evolution, in partnership with the Central Operations Excellence team.
  • Possibly lead certain improvement projects directly, and champion digitalisation of CSC, integrating AI and Lean initiatives.
  • Assist in deploying the Operating System (Hoshin Kanri) within CSC, maintaining quality and execution.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and tools (benchmarking, visits, Lean conferences) and contribute to the Excellence Operations community.
  • Report functionally to the Director of Continuous Improvement / Lean Operations, ensuring cross‑functional coherence in Lean strategy definition and execution.

Key qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in continuous improvement / operational excellence, preferably with an international dimension.
  • Knowledge of supply‑chain operations and change management is an advantage.
  • Black Belt Lean certification and extensive demonstrated experience.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies.
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset, rigor, results orientation, and ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication, teaching, and Lean culture diffusion skills.
  • Active listening, educational sensitivity, and capacity to coach all organisational levels.
  • Fluent in English and capable of operating in an international environment.
