Overview
The Carbonates Specialties I-Cube champion coordinates cross‑functional teams in France, the UK, and Germany to define and execute continuous improvement programs aimed at improving industrial performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, people skills and empowerment, environmental and energy efficiency (SQDCPE).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to design and implement continuous improvement initiatives enhancing industrial performance (SQDCPE).
- Deploy and sustain programs within factories and mines by improving working conditions through mandatory routines and cost‑saving measures.
- Foster and promote a strong continuous improvement culture.
- Support the analysis of processes and practices to generate safety, efficiency, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Generate detailed improvement initiatives to realise savings in collaboration with plant managers.
- Provide project support and expertise to on‑site teams for deployment and improvement projects.
- Monitor the progress of improvement projects and associated savings, including process‑management improvement and energy optimisation.
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation for reports, project execution, and data analysis.
- Work with operation sites and all other business‑process teams to set a long‑term vision based on a continuous‑improvement mindset, quick wins, and quarterly implementation tactics for relevant action plans.
Qualifications
- Engineer or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in operations management and operational excellence program management.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
- Willingness to travel abroad (approximately 30%).
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within a culturally diverse global company.
- Conversant in German language is advantageous.

- Strong leadership and strategic vision.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate diverse geographical locations.
- Project‑management skills to deliver projects on time, on budget, and on specification.
- Experience in communication and cooperation with geographically distributed teams.
