Job Description Summary

Nous recherchons un Responsable d’équipe DVM (Software Team Leader) pour le produit Device Management (Gestion des équipements) au sein du portefeuille GridBeats™. Ce produit permet de gérer de vastes parcs d'équipements connectés au réseau, incluant la gestion des versions de firmware et de logiciels, la configuration, la paramétrisation, les mises à jour et le cycle de vie des appareils. Il s'agit d'un système distribué complexe fonctionnant dans des environnements serveurs et interagissant avec des milliers, voire des centaines de milliers d'appareils.

The Software Team Leader will lead distributed development teams and be responsible for delivery, technical direction, and team leadership for the Device Management product.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the software development team responsible for the Device Management product.
  • Own delivery of software features, releases, and maintenance for the product.
  • Plan and coordinate development activities across distributed teams in collaboration with the DVM Project Manager.
  • Work closely with Product Management to translate product requirements into development plans and technical solutions.
  • Ensure high software quality, maintainability, and reliability of the product.
  • Guide technical decisions and support the team in software design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with Software Architecture, QA & Testing, UX, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with common practices and platform architecture.
  • Ensure proper software development processes are followed, including code reviews, testing, documentation, and release processes.
  • Manage technical risks, technical debt, and system improvements.
  • Support troubleshooting of complex technical issues and customer problems when required.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing software engineering team.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members.
  • Foster collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across distributed teams and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to long‑term product and technical roadmap planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 12‑15 years of experience in software development, with experience in technical leadership or team leadership roles.
  • Strong experience with backend/server software development using technologies such as Java, C#, or similar.
  • Experience working with distributed systems, client‑server architectures, or large‑scale device management systems.
  • Experience working with databases, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
  • Experience leading distributed or international software development teams.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience working with device management systems, IoT platforms, industrial software, or similar large‑scale systems.
  • Experience with software deployment, version management, and update mechanisms.
  • Experience with cybersecurity considerations for device communication and software updates.
  • Structured and pragmatic mindset, balancing technical quality with delivery timelines.
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive topics to completion.
  • Ability to work in international and matrix organizations.
  • Experience collaborating with product management, architecture, QA, and UX teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and interest in improving development processes and engineering practices.
