Responsable Domaine Technique – Secteur Rétrofit H/F

Chantiers de l'Atlantique is seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time position as a Responsable Domaine Technique – Secteur Rétrofit H/F, based in Montoir-de-Bretagne and Saint-Nazaire.

Our Business Unit Services oversees key operations including Operational Condition Maintenance (MCO) contracts for the French Navy—covering maintenance, repair, and renovation of military vessels in Brest and Toulon—as well as modernization and modification markets for civilian shipowners. In this role, you will be involved in diverse retrofit projects such as gas repowering, scrubber installations, energy optimization, interior space refits, and the addition of new cabins.

As a key technical leader in the retrofit sector, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve:

• Overseeing and coordinating technical aspects of ship modernization, refit, and maintenance projects.
• Collaborating closely with internal engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure specifications are met.
• Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Providing technical expertise and problem-solving support during the preparation and execution phases of naval interventions.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and optimization processes for civilian and military vessel operations.
