Job Description**
Position title: Human Resources ManagerLocation: Paris, FranceReports to: Market Manager France & Head of People Mid-EU / Head of HR Mid-EUScope: France & Monaco - approx. 400 employees across 20 stores (expanding)Contract: CDI - Full Time
Your mission
As HR Manager for France & Monaco, you will be the primary HR point of contact for our close to 400 passionate Juicers and Store Managers across our 20 stores, a network that is actively growing. You will be a hands-on, field-close HR partner who combines operational rigour with a genuine love of people and culture.
You will report directly to our Market Manager for France and to our Head of People Mid-EU and Head of HR for Mid-EU, all based at our Paris headquarters. You will be supported by this structure, meaning you are not operating alone, but you will be expected to own your scope with autonomy and energy.
This is an operational, people-first position at the heart of a fast-paced, high-energy brand. If you thrive on variety, love working with frontline teams, and want your HR work to have a direct and visible impact, this is the role for you.
Who we are looking for
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of HR generalist experience, with direct exposure to the full employee lifecycle
- Headcount: You have previously managed HR for a workforce of 200 to 500 employees - ideally across multiple sites
- Sector: A background in retail, food & beverage, hospitality, or another fast-paced consumer-facing environment is a strong advantage
- Languages: Fluent in both French and English - written and spoken. This is a requirement
- Legal: Solid working knowledge of French labour law, including CSE, disciplinary procedures, and employment contracts
- Culture: You genuinely enjoy working with frontline, high-energy teams. You want to be close to the action
Key Responsibilities(non-exhaustive list)
Recruitment
- Monitoring and anticipating recruitment needs across all France & Monaco stores
- Running end-to-end recruitment processes - sourcing, selection, and offer management
- Drafting employment contracts and completing declarations to social security organisations
Onboarding of juicers
- Overseeing the onboarding of new Juicers and Store Managers
- Supporting Store Managers in integrating new hires effectively and in line with Joe’s culture
- Monitoring and following up on probationary periods
Lifecycle Management
- Managing administrative tasks and maintaining personnel files
- Handling sick leave and absence management - tracking, follow-up, and compliance
- Preparing payroll information and coordinating with the payroll provider
- Supporting Store Managers and answering their day-to-day HR questions
- Monitoring training plans and supporting employee development
- Managing disciplinary matters from start to finish - from written warnings through to dismissal
- Owning the full offboarding process
MiscellaneousProjects
- Contributing to and maintaining the HR Handbook
- Supporting and coordinating the Works Council (CSE)
- Monitoring performance and compliance indicators
- Developing and maintaining HR dashboards and reporting tools
