Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for the complete management of a student residence in Bagneux, France. The role oversees day‑to‑day operations, commercial leasing, resident service, administrative tasks, and technical maintenance to ensure a high‑quality living environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Commercial:
- Market vacant units and manage the leasing process throughout the year.
- Maintain relationships with nearby student institutions and participate in annual open‑house events.
- Track application dossiers, validate information on marketing sites, and provide weekly occupancy reports.
- Support pricing decisions for annual leasing campaigns.
- Respond to tenant and owner requests in line with company policy.
- Resident Relations:
- Welcome residents and visitors; handle all resident inquiries and complaints.
- Carry out all actions required to satisfy residents in accordance with Greystar complaint procedures.
- Organise and facilitate events and activities to enhance resident satisfaction.
- Track local amenities and share new opportunities with residents.
- Administrative:
- Prepare tenant dossiers, execute lease agreements, and distribute documentation on time.
- Monitor rent collections and pursue overdue payments when necessary.
- Manage move‑in and move‑out inspections and prepare statements for security deposit refunds.
- Renew renters’ multi‑risk insurance and coordinate with public services or agencies such as Caisse des Allocations Familiales.
- Technical:
- Ensure the overall maintenance state of the building and conduct daily technical inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness standards for the residence at all times.
- Identify maintenance work, obtain quotes, and approve service contracts within budget.
- Benchmark suppliers and oversee contractual maintenance agreements.
Qualifications
- Degree in real‑estate, commerce, or hospitality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with property‑management or hotel software.
- Knowledge of building safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Extensive experience in client relations, complaint management, and service delivery.
- Strong teamwork and influence skills; able to negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Decisiveness, excellent organisation, prioritisation, and analytical skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
- Enthusiastic commitment to providing residents with an exceptional, personalised experience.
- Basic English language proficiency (written and spoken).
