Responsable de Projet IA & Transformation Industrielle (H/F)

You will have the opportunity to design, structure, and deploy an ambitious AI roadmap with a direct impact on our industrial performance, manufacturing sites, and teams.

Your Mission: Lead AI Transformation from Strategy to Execution

Reporting to the IT Department , within the Business Solutions Group , and working closely with Leach’s AI Ambassador, you will collaborate with all business functions across the organization.

You will lead AI, Data, and Digital Transformation projects from opportunity identification through operational deployment and value realization.

As a true cross-functional leader, you will bridge business needs, industrial challenges, quality requirements, and the opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence technologies, while operating within an IT landscape that combines modern digital solutions with legacy systems.

Your role will be instrumental in transforming innovative ideas into secure, scalable, integrated, and value-generating industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify High-Value AI Opportunities

Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases that improve operational efficiency, product quality, lead times, production flow, maintenance, documentation, and decision-making.

Establish AI & Data Governance

Define and implement governance frameworks, methodologies, KPIs, priorities, and processes to manage a secure and business-aligned AI project portfolio.

Lead End-to-End AI Projects

Define project scope, gather business requirements, prepare specifications, manage budgets and timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and ensure successful deployment at scale.

Design Integration Architectures

Develop integration strategies connecting AI solutions with ERP, MES, PLM, IT applications, industrial data platforms, IoT devices, sensors, and manufacturing environments.

Collaborate Across All Business Functions

Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, Operational Technology (OT), Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Finance, and Executive Management to ensure business adoption and long‑term value creation.

Drive Digital Transformation

Support change management initiatives, promote AI adoption, train end users, communicate complex technologies in a simple manner, and increase the organization’s digital maturity.

Examples of Strategic Projects

• Predictive maintenance and early detection of industrial deviations.
• AI-assisted quality inspection through computer vision and advanced analytics.
• Production planning, manufacturing flow, and supply chain optimization.
• Document automation and Generative AI applications supporting business processes.
• Leveraging data from ERP, MES, PLM, IoT devices, sensors, and internal systems.
• Intelligent dashboards and decision-support tools for operational and management teams.

You hold a Master’s degree (Engineering School, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field). You have at least 5 years of experience leading Data, Digital Transformation, Industrial IT, or Operational Excellence projects. You have proven experience within a demanding industrial environment. Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Energy, or other high-technology industries is highly desirable. You demonstrate solid expertise in: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Analytics and Data Engineering, Industrial Digital Transformation, Automation technologies, Systems integration and data architecture. You are experienced with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall (V-Model), cross-functional project leadership, risk management, budgeting, and planning. Fluent English, both written and spoken, is mandatory to operate effectively within an international group environment. Domestic and international travel will be required depending on project needs, operational priorities, partners, and deployment phases. The position requires flexibility and a strong willingness to work closely with operational teams on the shop floor.
