SemBreizh is the mixed‑economy company of the Brittany Region. We support municipalities and private actors in their town‑planning projects, revitalisation of small towns and city centres, creation of housing, programming of schools, sports, cultural and medical‑social facilities. We also support in engineering and investment the production of renewable energy on Breton territory, and the creation of economic real estate for the development of Breton companies. We are also the delegated project manager for Brittany Region which largely confers upon us the modernisation of its built heritage (high schools, maritimes, office buildings).

We have 80 employees across 5 branches in Brest, Lorient, Quimper, Rennes and Saint‑Brieuc.

Mission

Directly reporting to the Administrative and Financial Directorate, the candidate will have operational accounting responsibility for the Sembreizh SAEM and its subsidiaries (SAS, SCCV, SCI).

  • Translate external standards and formalise them by applying them to the company's accounting activities and principles.
  • Analyse company activities and translate them into operational accounting diagrams.
  • Elaborate the configuration of accounting diagrams, train the accounting team in the implementation of the standards, write the manual of accounting procedures, and provide accounting assistance to operations.
  • Ensure monitoring of regulatory changes and compliance.
  • Guarantee the preparation of the fiscal declarations of the companies under its jurisdiction.
  • Contribute to the good management of the company by preparing and processing accounting information that supports decisions and choices of the Management and Finance Directorate.

Au quotidien

  • Manage cash flow, validate banking operations and negotiate with banks.
  • Carry out intermediate and annual accounting revisions.
  • Prepare the balance sheet, income statement and annexes.
  • Prepare all necessary fiscal and social declarations, manage different aspects of VAT, master the tax aspects of real‑estate VAT and development VAT.
  • Maintain relationships with the auditor, the external accountant, tax authorities and banking partners.
  • Set team objectives, monitor performance and organise work.
  • Define the applied chart of accounts (generally PCG or company chart) and monitor its implementation.
  • Ensure application of accounting processes, procedures and current standards.

Profil

Higher education in accounting (Bachelor +3 to +5 minimum) with a confirmed 7‑year experience, preferably in an accounting firm or equivalent position. Mastery of the various legal structures and fiscalities and real‑estate VAT. A deep knowledge of concessions in development and real‑estate operations is appreciated. Experience in a mixed‑economy company or an EPL would be an added advantage.
