About The job

As Finance Manager for Tractel France, you will act as a trusted business partner to the local management team, providing financial advice and guidance to support strategic and operational decision‑making.

You will have overall responsibility for the financial management of the business, including financial planning, statutory accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance. Working closely with the local finance team, you will ensure accurate and timely delivery of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial requirements.

The role operates as part of the local HSPS Management Team in France and requires close collaboration with the Division and Group Finance function, external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities. In addition, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen financial governance, and support sustainability reporting in line with group standards.

The position is based at Saint Hilaire sous Romilly, in the area of Troyes (10).

Your Profile

You are a proactive and hands‑on finance professional with a strong business‑partnering mindset. You combine technical financial expertise with the ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across functions such as general management, operations, HR, R&D etc.

You are confident managing multiple priorities, identifying financial risks, and driving cost control and performance improvement initiatives.

You value collaboration, demonstrate high integrity, and are motivated to continuously improve financial processes, controls, and reporting quality.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven 10 year’s experience in financial management, controlling, or accounting, preferably in an industrial, engineering, or similar environments
  • Strong knowledge of statutory accounting, financial closing, tax compliance, and coordination with external auditors
  • Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management
  • Good understanding of internal controls, financial governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams and group/division finance structures
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
  • Fluency in English
