Primary Location: Aix en Provence, France. At Solina, a community of about 5,000 people passionate about food, we deliver customized savory solutions to the food industry, food service, butchery, and nutrition markets. Our fast‑growing company operates around 50 production sites and R&D laboratories across more than 19 countries. Responsibilities
- Oversee the administrative and financial activities of the establishment, ensuring compliance with group directives and legal frameworks.
- Manage and mentor team members on accounting, finance, administration, and IT topics; set objectives and support skill development.
- Guarantee accounting, fiscal, legal, and regulatory compliance of processes.
- Track cash flows, analyze variances, and update forecasts.
- Supervise receipts, payments, and debtor management.
- Create and monitor performance dashboards and KPIs.
- Assist in building forecast budgets and analyze their evolution.
- Contribute to accounting entries, close procedures, financial statements, and tax declarations.
- Prepare financing plans for investments and maintain relationships with banks and external partners (accountant, auditor, tax authority).
- Supervise general services, vendor contracts, insurance, and equipment.
- Lead cost analyses, internal audit missions, and budgetary simulations.
- Provide concrete financial recommendations to the Senior Director of Finance for Southern Europe.
- Report results, prepare monthly reports (provisions, profit & loss, balance sheet, cash, analytics) and monitor profitability and compliance risks.
- File monthly tax and customs declarations (VAT, DEB, DES…) and draft annual accounts (cut‑off entries, provisions…) to support annual budget preparation.
- Assist the Director of Administrative and Financial Management for Southern Europe in producing and consolidating reporting and budgeting for French entities, and prepare margin, profitability, and ROI analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s to Master’s level in accounting, finance, management, or equivalent (DCG, DSCG, CCA, business school).
- Minimum five years of experience in accounting, management control, audit, or a financial leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency with office tools, information systems, and business intelligence platforms.
- Professional English language skills.
- Detail‑oriented, confidential, flexible, strong adaptability, able to communicate with diverse stakeholders, organized, and proactive.
