Industrial Risk Manager
Based on the activities assigned by his/her hierarchical superiors, the Industrial Risk Manager is responsible for protecting the company's interests against industrial risks. He/she provides support and technical and legal expertise to operational teams on projects to control industrial risks. He/she is involved in following up litigation cases (technical advice, recommendations, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise and technical and legal support for product and service sales.
- Provide technical support to industrial management and operational teams (design, commitment times, equipment performance, new products, etc.).
- Provide technical assistance to operational teams during audits in order to limit penalties and optimize maintenance plans.
- Participate in diagnostics and organization of maintenance operations on product ranges, in collaboration with the operational teams.
- Contribute to the definition of new manufacturer standards.
- Monitor and analyze technical and legal risk assessment indicators, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Report on the progress of files being processed.
- Draft documents (protocols, presentations, etc.) associated with industrial risk actions for internal and external stakeholders (manufacturer(s), customers, etc.).
- Provide and/or ensure the provision of technical and/or legal appraisals in the event of litigation (emerging or proven), in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to dispute resolution (legal support), in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the activity (feedback, etc.).
- Participate in training internal stakeholders.
- Ensure the protection of the company's interests and the management of industrial risks.
- Guarantee deadlines and quality of technical and legal support.
- Know, apply and enforce internal and external compliance procedures and rules.
Qualifications
- 5 years higher education in maintenance, mechanics or electrical engineering and/or 10 years of significant experience preferred.
- General knowledge of industrial engineering.
- In-depth professional knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, etc.
- In-depth product knowledge (ranges, features, etc.).
- General legal knowledge.
- General knowledge of IT tools and information systems.
- Intermediate level in English (B2).
- Good interpersonal skills, active listening, thoroughness, analytical skills, responsiveness, adaptability, perseverance.
