2. BESS Technical Knowledge

General understanding of BESS architecture, especially LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) technology.

Awareness of lithium-ion battery risks (fire safety, chemical hazards, environmental impact).

Knowledge of system components such as battery cabinets, PCS, EMS, and grid connection.

understand and explain to internal team technical documentation and key concepts.

Support internal team to Engage with customers, EPCs, to collect and clarify project technical requirements.

Provide guidelines on how to organize and document customer needs, technical constraints, and compliance expectations.

Support technical meetings and workshops with structured preparation and follow-up.

Track open technical items and ensure proper internal coordination until closure.

4. Market & Industry Insight

Monitor market trends in the French BESS sector, including regulatory evolution, competitor positioning, and technical standards.

Maintain regular communication with industry consultants, technical advisors, and permitting experts.

Provide structured knowledge and material to internal teams regarding recurring market expectations.

Support benchmarking activities and preparation of market intelligence summaries.

5. Support to Sales & Business Development

Assist internal team in preparing technical documents for tenders and customer submissions (without owning core design responsibility).

Support clarification of technical questions during bidding phases.

Good understanding of the French regulatory framework related to BESS projects, including:

ICPE regulations

NFC 18-510 (electrical safety)

Environmental Code and Labor Code requirements

ADR for lithium-ion battery transportation

Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and communicate implications to customers and internal teams.

Familiarity with approval processes involving DREAL, SDIS, and local authorities.
