Offer Description
Main goall: to develop optimization models for electric vehicle fleet charging planning.
Activities:
- Apply operations research methods (linear and mixed-integer programming, dynamic optimization, stochastic optimization)
- Integrate lithium-ion battery models, including aging and operational constraints
- Design and implement decision-support tools for industrial use cases
- Analyze real or simulated fleet data
- Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Contribute to project coordination and student supervision
Requirements
Research Field Engineering » Computer engineering Education Level PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
Core competencies:
- PhD in operations research, applied mathematics, industrial engineering, or related fields
- Strong background in mathematical optimization and modeling
- Excellent programming skills (Python, Matlab, Julia, or similar)
- Interest in energy systems, electric mobility, and battery technologies
