Research Scientist / Engineer - Foundation Models, AI Research Institute - Paris, France - €80,000 - €130,000 base salary + bonus

Opportunity to join as an early member in a high-growth team, led by A‑listers in research & academia. Seeking Researchers skilled in building speech, voice and audio models and capabilities for LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Research & implement SOTA methods in speech and audio for LLMs
• Contribute to data collection, model training, infrastructure and evaluation
• Work collaboratively in a tight‑knit team in Paris, as well as teams in other global hubs

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Comp Sci - AI/ML focus, ideally speech, NLP, multimodality
• Expertise with text-to-speech, speech-to-speech or speech-to-text algorithms
• Experience working on SOTA open-source and frontier model development
• Proficiency in leveraging high compute GPU clusters
