Research Project Manager
The European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN, is a non‑profit research organisation currently looking for a Research Project Manager to work on projects related to clinical research data management. The position is open in Paris, France, for a duration of 12 months with the possibility of renewal, starting as soon as possible.
About ECRIN
ECRIN is a not‑for‑profit European research infrastructure, specialising in multinational clinical research for all medical disciplines. ECRIN connects national clinical research networks, most of which are academic clinical trial units capable of managing clinical trials at the national level. The organisation provides information, consultations and operational clinical trial tasks and services to sponsors and investigators of clinical trials initiated by academic investigators or small and medium‑sized enterprises. ECRIN’s involvement covers all clinical trial activities, from study planning and grant preparation to the set‑up and conduct of multinational clinical trials in any disease area. It also contributes to a growing portfolio of EU‑funded projects that develop new services, tools, and knowledge to meet the needs of medical research communities.

About the Position
The role is suited for someone interested in project management within a multinational research environment. The Research Project Manager will work with the ECRIN Data Team on projects related to clinical research data management.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects and/or contribute to work package and task activities.
- Drive the involvement of relevant internal or external experts to meet project objectives.
- Organise and attend project meetings and events, with occasional travel across Europe.
- Contribute to scientific documents such as project reports and deliverables for the European Commission, and to the preparation of scientific publications and outreach materials.
- Contribute to the operational support of tools developed within the Data Team such as the clinical research Data Sharing Repository and the clinical research MetaData Repository.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals for competitive calls.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
- Good oral and written communication in English (working language).
- Ability and willingness to work in a team.

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable Skills
- Data management in a scientific context.
- Experience with legal and ethical requirements of data sharing.
- University degree / PhD in Health / Life Sciences or in Data Science.
- Experience in project management, particularly for EU‑funded projects (H2020, Horizon Europe, Marie Curie, Erasmus+, IHI).

- Experience operating at European/international level.
- Statistical knowledge.
- Software / coding literacy.
The post is a full‑time twelve‑month contract (CDD) according to French law with the possibility of renewal. Part‑time applications may also be considered. Salary is set according to European/international standards for similar positions and will depend on qualifications and experience.
