Research Engineer / Post-Doctoral Researcher in Translational Research

The “Translational Unraveling of Precision Acute Care (TUPAC)” research team at CHU de Clermont-Ferrand (Pr Matthieu Jabaudon & Pr Marc Garnier) is recruiting a post‑doctoral researcher to lead a 3‑year project on acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS): development of a macrophage‑reprogramming therapy using targeted nanoparticles in preclinical models (in vitro/ex vivo/in vivo), prospective multicentre clinical cohort for multimodal and longitudinal phenotyping.

• PhD in cell/molecular biology, life sciences, medicine or a related field
• Experience in animal experimentation (FELASA Level B) and/or translational clinical research

Location: Clermont‑Ferrand University Hospital — within the iGReD translational ecosystem and the upcoming Clinical Investigation Center 2027–2032 project

Contract: 3‑year, preferred start flexible October 2026
