Research Engineer for the 3D-Hub-O platform

Offer Description

• Increasing the production capacity of tumor organoids
• Contributing to the operational management of the platform, including stock management, monitoring, maintenance, and routine upkeep of equipment
• Training users and supervising students and interns
• Implementing and enforcing best practices in ethics, hygiene, and safety
• Standardizing traceability of colorectal biobanks under co-development and contributing to the implementation and maintenance of a quality management system, essential for activity certification and building trust with industrial partners

Requirements

Research Field: Biological sciences » Biology

Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

• Knowledge
• English proficiency: B2 to C1 (CEFR)
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in oncology and cell biology
• Operational Skills
• Expertise in advanced cell culture, ideally organoids or 3D and microfluidic models
• Proficiency in phenotypic characterisation techniques (imaging, immunofluorescence, functional analyses)
• Strong organisational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work at the interface with academic and industrial partners
• Teaching skills to supervise, train, and support users with diverse backgrounds
• Rigor, service-oriented mindset, and strong motivation for working in a technological platform

Specific Requirements

Working conditions: Schedule constraints depending on the reception of human samples, particularly around lunchtime and late afternoon.
