Job Title: PhD R&D Consultant (Project-Based Collaboration)

About This Role

We’re hiring PhD-level professionals in science and engineering disciplines to join our client’s research initiatives on a part-time or consulting basis. This remote role offers the freedom to engage with impactful projects while balancing your existing commitments, with compensation scaled to your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive R&D projects across priority areas: Biomedical Science, Physics, AI, Computer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, Imaging, Energy Batteries, Autonomous Driving, Industrial Software, Drones, Automation, Rail Transit, Geographic Information Surveying, Mechanical Manufacturing.
• Deliver technical insights, experimental design, and problem-solving to advance project milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (remotely) to align research with commercial applications.
• Contribute to patentable innovations and technology transfer strategies.

Ideal Profile

• PhD in a Science/Engineering discipline (specializations matching the above fields).
• ≥3 years of post-PhD experience in your field (industry, academia, or R&D institutions).
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage project timelines.
• Expertise in at least one core technology area (e.g., AI algorithms, Battery R&D, Autonomous Systems).
