Research and Development Project Manager
MVG is looking for an R&D Project Manager to join its antenna innovation and design team in Pomezia, Italy or Villejust, France. This role combines project management and technical contribution across research and innovation initiatives, with the opportunity to grow into leading international R&D projects from concept through completion. It is ideal for an electrical engineering professional with RF knowledge, strong collaboration skills, and the ambition to help shape MVG’s technology roadmap.

- Lead future R&D projects from conception to completion as the team expands internationally.
- Develop and contribute to research and innovation initiatives within the R&D Product and Process team.
- Drive technical development activities related to antenna, RF, and measurement software solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers across Mechanics, Software, Electronics, signal processing, Marketing, Engineering, and Purchasing.
- Define and track project budgets, resources, and progress using project management tools.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across multicultural, multinational teams and MVG sites.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of conducted and radiated RF domains.
- A few years of practical experience in highly innovative R&D environments or university research; newly graduated candidates with management skills may also be considered.
- Experience in project management or process engineering using common project management tools.
- Strong ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. - Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Valid working permit for the European Union.
Nice to Have:
- French and/or Italian language skills.
- Experience with antenna measurement systems and technologies, including Near Field, Far Field, Compact Range, and RCS.
- Familiarity with basic programming languages such as MatLab and Python.
- Knowledge of budget and resource definition and tracking in R&D projects.
