Job description:

• Designs, implements, improves and optimizes statistically robust, efficient, secure and scalable algorithms while respecting platforms’ constraints
• Adapts the algorithms to improve system and customer experience, to create added value for customers, and to win external benchmarks
• Develops test strategies and methodologies to evaluate new or competing algorithms
• Presents algorithms and results for internal community challenges
• Stays up-to-date on latest state of the art research and algorithm development methodologies
• Provides support to solution design, implementation, customization and operations
• Closes proactively the loop with operational data/logs to ensure the algorithms are fully effective in operations
• Leads a defined study with guidance of more experienced researchers

Profile description:

Education

• PhD or Engineering Degree (Master's level engineering education)

Required Technical Skills

• Initial significant experience in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
• Strong background in mathematics, data analysis, C, Python, and PyTorch.
• Ability to process large volumes of data and work in a research environment, including exploring unknown or emerging domains.
• Knowledge of biometrics or document analysis would be considered a plus.
