Rental Management Trainee
Job Description
Summary
The Rental Management Trainee program spans 18‑24 months and provides comprehensive training in Rental Management, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales/Marketing. Trainees will perform operational and administrative duties supporting location and regional management, engaging in all facets of the unit.
Essential Functions
- Handle inbound and outbound sales and outreach calls.
- Maintain accurate data in the marketing database.
- Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
- Manage rental asset processes, including vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
- Execute sales and marketing initiatives to meet Ryder market share goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve customer concerns and issues to maintain relationships and grow the customer base.
Additional Responsibilities
- Serve as an On‑Call Representative on a voluntary basis or as scheduled by supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- One year or more of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.

Compensation
Position is salaried with a minimum pay range of $50,000 and a maximum pay range of $52,000. The role may be eligible for annual bonus, commission, and long‑term incentive plans.
