Remote Computational Seismology Specialist (Contract)

Mercor is seeking a Computational Seismology & Geophysics Expert to design challenging AI-evaluation tasks in seismology. You will craft problems using SPECFEM, ObsPy, and Pyrocko, test them against evolving AI models, and contribute to model training and evaluation within a remote, part-time framework.

The role requires graduate-level STEM credentials and strong Python/Linux abilities, with 15–20 hours per week availability and independent work capability.
