About The Job

Are you ready to jump into a mega project (> 2 B€ Capex program, design/engineering budget > 200 m€) to bring in your experience & knowledge? The race is on to design & build our new Insulin flex facilities, addressing BLA (Biologics License Application) inside a program of two new facilities in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and China. You will manage the Reliability Process implementation activities from Basic Engineering down to Detailed Design for the program in accordance with EHS, Quality, Business & Users requirements focus on design-to-cost solutions & process for IFF and replication for Glargine in China.

Main Responsibilities

• Design the predictive strategy for the global maintenance plan of the two facilities in a fully digital environment within the program Reliability and digitalization team, considering impacts of potential failures on the 14 steps of insulin production and its value stream.
• Collaborate with automation and digital teams for integration of Smart Instrumentation and IoT devices, contributing to site historian parameterization.
• Define the advanced diagnostics data to collect, taking into account key parameters on the process and FMEA analysis.
• Implement conditional activities in substitution of systematic activities in maintenance instructions, considering a predictive approach if historic data is available in the monitoring solution and supporting AI tools or data scientists’ analysis as a plus.
• Build a structured process to manage work order based on pre-alarming of conditional/predictive monitoring; consider planning, scheduling, and execution phases through the CMMS system, including KPIs on costs and technical availability and a continuous improvement loop based on review of “bad actors” equipment and recurrent failure modes to update maintenance strategy and instructions.
• Lead the transfer management of new plans to the local Frankfurt organization with operational maintenance teams, taking into account local environment for external support and resources.

About You

Experience

• Worked more than 5 years in technical positions in industrial sites, including at least one experience in Maintenance on a large-scale production environment.
• Experience and knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EU guidelines especially data integrity requirements.
• Experience in working in a large, complex matrix environment with global processes and governance structures.

Soft And Technical Skills

• Rigorous, organized, factual and results-oriented.
• Good general technical knowledge in mechanical and automation, ability to interact with experts, especially instrumentation and digital.
• Ability to “speak with data” and data flow management in a 0-paper environment, with experience with streaming engines solutions, ERP and CMMS Systems, historian solutions or data lake solutions.
• Customer Centricity, Results oriented, Teamwork, Clear thinker.
• Act for innovation, initiating new and improved ways of working.

Education

Master’s degree in industrial engineering domain: Generalist Engineer diploma.

Languages

English (project language), Chinese, German is a plus.
