Reliability Engineer – Chemical Industry

CortecNet is hiring an Reliablity Engineer for process equipment. Over the past decade, the company has developed innovative flow chemistry processes for the manufacture of 1-10 tons scale stable isotope-labeled compounds.

The role involves keeping manufacturing equipment running, setting up preventive maintenance, and identifying and implementing technical improvements (yield, quality, cost, reliability) — a hands‑on, floor-based job requiring solid grounding in industrial chemistry and the drive to turn ideas into working solutions.

YOUR MISSIONS?

• Ensure the continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment
• Design a preventive maintenance plan for this equipment
• Identify technical improvements to be made to our machinery
• Lead and implement improvements to these machines (yield increase, quality enhancement, production cost reduction, reliability improvement)
• Participate in the creation and design of new chemical production equipment and scale up existing materials

WHO ARE YOU?

YOUR PROFILE

• Graduate of a top European engineering school (Arts et Métiers, TU Delft, KIT, or similar) with Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Automation, etc.)
• You are a hands‑on engineer who's happiest on the shop floor — troubleshooting, repairing, and improving complex chemical process equipment, not just designing it on paper.
• Have a strong understanding of the key challenges in industrial production
• Have a foundational knowledge of industrial gases and chemistry
